Digital Printing
Product Description:
A high quality business card sets the tone for your business, not just making a great impression but creating a lasting connection too.
That’s where we can help. We use only premium quality thick card as standard and have luxury options for even thicker card.
We don't sell 'thin', poor quality business cards, why would we? We want you to love SOREL Printing and tell all your friends
where you got your cards.
You really should try our SOREL Luxury High Quality Business Cards,
sure they cost a tiny bit more (and it really is a tiny bit more per card) but people will notice the difference and as we said making
a first impression is what counts.
We offer you a great choice of options.
Paper and finishes:
You can choose cards sized 85mm x 55mm, 90mm x 50mm, 90mm x 55mm or 170mm x 55mm folded cards.
Please note that folded business cards are supplied creased on the fold line and left flat (unfolded).
The standard size and most commonly used size is 85mm x 55mm.
Cards can be printed portrait or landscape single sided or double sided. Select from uncoated paper or
a silk or gloss coated paper. What’s the difference? Uncoated paper is more absorbent so the ink sinks in more
and appears flatter; silk-coated paper has a low sheen and gloss coated paper has a high sheen.
Our high quality business cards are printed on paper grades ranging from 300gsm up to 400gsm silk,
You can also choose whether to have a matt or gloss lamination finish. Matt lamination gives a soft, contemporary effect.
Gloss lamination gives a higher quality shine finish than gloss card. Lamination is most useful with solid colours or
images to enhance their vibrancy or where you want to protect your printed documents.
Our best selling leaflets and flyers are A5 (100x210mm) size; printed both sides on 150gsm silk paper.
Standard leaflets are normally printed on 115gsm - 130gsm paper so, 150gsm to 170gsm gives a higher quality feel for very little extra cost.
As with our full range of leaflet printing options, we have a great selection of papers for you to choose from. We stock silk, gloss and uncoated papers,
with the option of recycled silk and recycled uncoated paper for those who wish to choose an environmentally friendly option. And if you want to add that
extra special something, we have a range of beautiful luxury papers that are certain to impress.
Choose from 9 sizes – it’s up to you. We offer leaflet and flyer printing with single-sided or double-sided lamination on weights above 250gsm and you can
choose from landscape or portrait orientation.

Perfect bound book printing is a great option for documents from 40 up to 700 printed pages. No wonder it’s so popular!
If your cover is a solid color or high coverage of ink, please opt to laminate your cover during the instant quote process -
we recommend matt lamination.
If your document is too thick to be saddle-stitched or stapled, then perfect bound book printing is your perfect option.
Perfect bound printing is commonly used for magazines, brochures and thicker reports, this method binds your document together
with adhesive along the spine to provide a smooth and stylish finish. When designing your perfect bound book you need to allow
7mm safe area at the spine edge of the first and last inside text page and inside front and back cover page. We crease the cover
7mm from the spine to create a hinge that protects the glued edge. It’s professional in appearance, cost effective - even for
low quantities - and a great option for documents from 40 up to 700 printed pages. No wonder it’s so popular!
We only use PUR glue to perfect bind our books as it is much stronger than old-fashioned hot melt glue.
PUR binding is more tolerant to higher and lower temperatures as is very flexible and non-brittle,
meaning books open flatter without cracking the spine or pages falling out.
Whether you’re publishing a bestseller, producing a glossy manual or distributing your annual report, we can help.
We have a great range of paper and finishes to choose from, with the option of matt or gloss lamination.
Choose from silk, gloss or uncoated for your cover (250gsm to 350gsm), with gloss, matt or no lamination.
We recommend you always matt laminate your cover for a quality finish. Our perfect bound books are available
in A4 portrait, 1/3 A4 portrait, A5 portrait or landscape or 210 x 210mm square. Your inner (text) pages can be uncoated,
silk or gloss, in weights ranging from 100gsm to 150gsm.

We have the perfect solution for printing your annual reports, magazines, brochures and other booklets - saddle stitched books.
Our best-selling saddle stitched brochure type is: A4 portrait with 150gsm silk inner pages and a 300gsm silk cover with matt lamination.
Saddle stitched means binding pages together using staples (known as stitches) along the spine. This is a straightforward
technique for documents up to 48 printed pages, giving you a professional finish with sharp, vibrant colour at a low price.
We also square off the spine for an even better finish on books with more than 24 printed pages, to stop booklets from “springing open”.
All saddle-stitched books must be created in multiples of 4 pages, counting each page as you would in a normal page numbered book.
Thus, a single page folded in half becomes a 4-page “book” and so on.
We have a great range of high-quality papers for you to choose from, including a broad selection of luxury papers.
Choose heavier stock for the cover, with a choice of matt or gloss lamination for added strength.
Choose a lighter stock for inner text pages (and for more than 28 pages, 130gsm or lighter to stop your document springing open).

Spiral binding or Wiro-binding is ideal for, presentations, notebooks, recipe books, manuals and other reference documents,
Especially if you want the document to lie flat or fold back on itself.
Wiro binding (known as wire, spiral or coil binding) involves gathering pages together, punching holes along their
side and holding them together with a metal wire spine. When the pages are opened they either lie flat or can fold fully back
around, making wiro binding ideal for annual reports, recipe books, manuals and other reference material. It’s also suitable
for between 4 and 180 leaves - that’s up to 360 printed sides.
Choose wiro binding on the top or left-hand side, and landscape or portrait orientation. You can select from silk, gloss or
